What are the hazards?
Due to overheating of various components in the motor, flammable components may combust, leading to other flammable components catching fire.
What are the defects?
A manufacturing defect may give rise to a short circuit in the motor, potentially causing it to overheat.
Consumer Action
Customers should immediately stop using the product and return the compressor to their nearest Repco store for a refund or replacement.
